aspects of all styles of fishing. We live to catch fish, and would love the
opportunity to offer a few tricks of the trade or our favorite fly.
Greg Befus
Guide / Owner
Greg Befus is a resident of Alaska and has been an avid Pike angler for more
than 18 years. He's a licensed guide who has enjoyed fishing and hunting all of
his life, and understands, as well as appreciates, what it takes to provide you
with the trip of a lifetime in Alaska's vast wilderness. "If you want to catch

Scott Rowekamp
Guide / Owner
Scott's true passion is to fish in remote areas. He is a licensed guide, holds
various high level white water rescue and EMT certifications. Fishing, camping
and the outdoors have been a part of his life since he can remember. When he is
not guiding the Aniak he is fishing for Rainbows, Char and Steelhead in Alaska
year round. Professionalism is his number one priority, ensuring that your
Alaskan experience will be remembered forever.
Jared Ehlers
Guide
Jared is a Wisconsin native who has plenty of fishing hours under his
belt; the 20 year old began his fishing at the early age of 3 years. His on the
water and industry experience is pretty vast for a person of his age. Jared has
and continues to work in his Dad's (Pat Ehlers) fly shop The Fly Fishers in
Milwaukee, WI, since he was 14. This has lead to doing work with the Sage Fly
Rod Co. as well as being a pro-staff member for Ross Reels and a member of the
Smith Optics guide team. Jared has also done local work in the state such as
kids casting programs and talks at Gander Mountain. His work has lead to
numerous newspaper/magazine appearances as well as several worldwide appearances
on ESPN. The angling opportunities Jared pursues have taken him across the
country from Florida to Alaska. Currently a student at the University of
Wisconsin-Milwaukee, his out of the classroom time is spent pursuing his outdoor
passions be it on the water chasing fish or on the snow skiing.
Guide Internships:
Come and gain experience and possible employment. Learn everything needed to be
a professional Alaskan fishing guide. Everything from knots to cooking over a
camp fire will be included in our training. Internship positions can be used for
college credit.
