Alaska Fishing FAQs
Question: What personal items do I need to bring with me?
Answer: Rain gear, jacket, pants, and water resistant shoes. A hat and
polarized sun glasses. Bug dope and sun screen. Layered clothing such as, 2
underwader (long underwear) garments, 5 tshirts, 2 long sleeve shirts and 2
pairs of jeans. Weight is a consideration for travel. Also toiletries and all
medications.
Question: Do I need to bring any linens?
Answer: No, towels, sheets, and blankets are provided.
Question: Do I need to overnight traveling to the Midnight Sun or
returning home?
Answer: We strongly recommend that you overnight on your travels to the Midnight
Sun. We can recommend a B&B in Aniak, (for less than the cost of a hotel in
Anchorage) or overnight in Anchorage. On your travel home we recommend you
either overnight or schedule your return flights no earlier than 8:00 PM.
Question: Do I need to bring fishing tackle?
Answer: No. We will provide all gear, or you may bring your own.
